Jorge Prado has won the thrilling first moto of the Swedish Grand Prix. Four men competed wheel to wheel for the top places. In the end, it was Prado who struck in the closing stages and won the moto ahead of Tim Gajser and Romain Febvre. Jeremy Seewer was in the lead in the first half of the race and eventually finished fourth.
Jeffrey Herlings got off to a bad start and had a lot of work to do to get to the front. In the closing stages, Herlings set fast lap times and came up to Seewer’s rear wheel, but during the attack he stalled his bike and had to settle for fifth place.
