Jeffrey Herlings managed to set the fastest time in the time practice session of the MXGP class in Portugal. Herlings set a lap time that made him 0.8 sec faster than Jorge Prado. Isak Gifting trained strongly in third and Glenn Coldenhoff and Calvin Vlaanderen managed to finish fourth and fifth.
