FMI to test Stark Varg in Italian Championship

The electric Stark Varg motorcycle will be admitted to a competition of the Italian Championship (AMA Rider Expert Raven) in Fermo on the weekend of May 11 and 12. This is a test in Italy to allow electric motors in the future.

The Stark Future is allowed to compete here in both the MX1 and MX2 classes.

The FMI is always open to new developments and experiments with new solutions. An example is the second round of the AMA Expert-Rider Italian Motocross Championship, which is scheduled for May 11 and 12 in Fermo.

For this occasion, the participation of Stark Varg electric motorcycles is allowed. The Stark Varg can compete in both the MX2 class (in “Race Modes” configuration with 48 hp/36 Kw) and in the MX1 (in “Race Modes” configuration with 60 hp/45 Kw).

In Fermo, the Italian Federation and the Spanish manufacturer Stark Varg will work together to gather the information necessary to allow the possibility (and related procedures) of permanent admission of riders with electric motorcycles in the Italian Championship in the future.
