Andrea Bonacorsi will ride for the Monster Energy Yamaha MXGP team from the Portuguese Grand Prix. Bonacorsi was riding in the MX2 class in the first four races of this championship and managed to achieve his best result ever in Trentino with a third place in the second moto and a sixth place in the daily classification.
Due to the many injuries within the Yamaha MXGP team, only Calvin Vlaanderen is left. Bonacorsi’s posture is ideal for the 450 machine. He already showed this during the MX of Nations last year and that is why Yamaha has chosen him to ride in the MXGP class.
From the Grand Prix of Portugal we will see Bonacorsi in the MXGP class!
