Rick Elzinga has won the exciting first moto of the Dutch Masters 250 in Markelo and has reduced his deficit to Cas Valk to 1 point. Valk kept Elzinga under pressure throughout the heat but was unable to get past him. Both riders rode far away from the third man and ultimately Thibault Benistant managed to take this position ahead of Sander Agard Michelsen and Max Werner. Kay Karssemakers came from last place to sixth place!
