Jeffrey Herlings has won the opening moto of the MXGP class in Lommel. Despite a crash in the middle of the race, Herlings closed down a gap of more than 15 seconds on Prado and won. Calvin Vlaanderen finished the race in third ahead of Romain Febvre and Tim Gajser.
