Jeffrey Herlings has won the opening moto of the MXGP class in Lombok. Herlings passed Jeremy Seewer during the first lap and was leading the rest of the race. Jorge Prado was keeping Herlings under pressure in the first half of the race but wasn’t able to close down the gap and had to settle for second. Tim Gajser wasn’t able to ride the pace of Herlings and Prado and came home in third position in front of Calvin Vlaanderen and Andrea Bonacorsi!
