Following a heavy crash during the second race in China, Julius Mikula flew back to the Czech Republic for further examinations with his doctors. Unfortunately, the examinations confirmed that the extent of the injuries to his shoulder and cervical spine does not allow him to compete at 100 percent. The injuries are more serious than initially expected.
After consulting with his doctors and family, it was decided that Julius will not participate in the final MXGP round of the season in Australia.
His participation in the Motocross of Nations (MXoN) is still uncertain at this stage.
