The opening round of the 2026 SMX Playoffs in Columbus provided plenty to talk about. In a new episode of Title 24, Ricky Carmichael and Ryan Villopoto take an in-depth look back at the rainy and muddy race weekend.
Naturally, much of the attention is focused on Haiden Deegan, who claimed his first victory in the premier class. Carmichael and Villopoto discuss his growing confidence and what this breakthrough could mean for the remainder of the SMX Playoffs.
Hunter Lawrence’s difficult day, Ken Roczen’s strong comeback and Cole Davies’ mechanical problems are also discussed. In the 250 class, Levi Kitchen made the most of the opportunity, while several other title contenders had a costly weekend.
