Herlings Wins First MXGP Moto in Arnhem After Thrilling Battle with De Wolf

Jeffrey Herlings has won the opening MXGP moto at the MXGP of the Netherlands in Arnhem. The Dutchman had to work hard for the victory, battling with Kay de Wolf for much of the race.

De Wolf led for a long time and managed to keep Herlings behind him. With around three-quarters of the race completed, Herlings eventually found a way past his fellow Dutchman and took over the lead.

However, the battle was not over yet. Herlings crashed on the final lap, but the gap he had built was large enough to keep him in front. The five-time World Champion quickly remounted and still managed to secure the moto victory. De Wolf crossed the finish line in second, completing a Dutch one-two. Tim Gajser took third place, ahead of Tom Vialle and Andrea Adamo.
