Marcel Stauffer to Undergo Another Surgery, Will Miss Home Grand Prix

Bad news for Marcel Stauffer. The Austrian rider of the Osicka MX Team will have to undergo another operation on his wrist after it was discovered that his scaphoid bone had not healed properly.

Stauffer is scheduled to undergo surgery on Friday in the hope of making a full recovery. As a result of the procedure, he will also be forced to miss his team’s home Grand Prix, the MXGP of the Czech Republic in Loket.

The Austrian is disappointed by this latest setback but remains determined to return behind the starting gate as soon as possible.
