With the MXGP of Italy set to bring the FIM Motocross World Championship to the Miravalle circuit in Montevarchi this weekend, the buildup spilled into the heart of the town. On this Friday afternoon and just hours before the gates drop, the main square of Montevarchi became the stage for a talk show that brought the home riders directly to their supporters, drawing many fans and locals, including many young boys and girls.
The event opened with remarks from the Mayor of Montevarchi, Silvia Chiassai Martini, and the Coordinator of the FMI Motocross Committee, Roberto Rustichelli. The spotlight then turned to a quartet of Italian riders, with Andrea Adamo from Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, Fantic Factory Racing MXGP’s Alberto Forato, Honda HRC Petronas’ Valerio Lata, and Beddini Racing Ducati Factory MX2 Team’s Ferruccio Zanchi taking the stage together.

The four athletes shared the spotlight with content creator Carolina Tedeschi, who hosted the talk show and drew out the distinct personality of each rider. The result was a relaxed and entertaining session, packed with fun facts and strong engagement from a captivated crowd.

The focus then shifted to the next generation, with questions turned to Alessandro Lupino, Italian Motorcycle Federations’ Motocross Junior Manager, who arrived alongside a group of young Italian riders affiliated to the federation. Their presence underlined the event’s connection to the up-and-coming talent set to follow in the footsteps of today’s stars.

Organised by the Italian Motorcycle Federation alongside Infront Moto Racing and the Municipality of Montevarchi, the gathering closed with a dedicated fan session. The riders signed autographs and posed for photos with everyone present, sending supporters home with their first unforgettable memory of the 2026 MXGP of Italy.
Attention now turns to the Miravalle circuit, where the riders get down to business as the on-track action begins tomorrow.
