Ben Mustoe Suffers Internal Injuries After Crash in British Championship

Ben Mustoe suffered a major setback during the fifth round of the British Motocross Championship. The British rider crashed in the first moto and sustained injuries to several internal organs.

Mustoe had started the race day strongly, setting the fourth-fastest time in qualifying. In the opening moto, he fought his way back to third place after a poor start before a crash disrupted his race.

Despite the pain, he attempted to line up for the second moto but was ultimately forced to retire.

“Everything was feeling good after setting the fourth-fastest time in qualifying, and I had worked my way up to third place in the first moto after a bad start. I tried to ride the second moto, but the pain was too much, and I even started feeling sick while riding.”

Examinations at the hospital revealed that Mustoe had suffered damage to several organs, although the situation does not appear to be serious.

“I was examined at the hospital and sustained some damage to a few organs, but nothing serious. I hope to be back on the bike soon. It’s disappointing considering the form I’ve been in recently, but sometimes these things happen.”
