Before you tune into here is a quick run through of how things stand heading into round 5

RFX MX125 Class
The 125 class rolls into Wales with Drew Stock firmly leading the way, his 35-point cushion over rookie Harley Marczak the product of a near-perfect start to the season. But Monster Mountain has a habit of rewriting scripts, and with a hungry group of young guns circling, Stock may not have it all his own way. Joel Winstanley Dawson, Ollie Walters, Archie Stapley, Alfie Herron and Lucas Moncrieff are separated by just 16 points and each one of them is more than capable of standing on the top step. The 125 class has been the surprise package of 2026.

MX2 Class inc JMR U21
Charlie Heyman has been the class master of the MX2 field through the opening rounds, but his 37-point lead tells only part of the story. There are plenty of riders willing and able to take the fight to him. Ben Mustoe has been solid in second, but Tommy Searle, never a man to give an inch, has closed to within six points and will arrive in Wales with a point to prove. Further back, the intrigue only deepens. Gyan Doensen comes in carrying serious international momentum after back-to-back EMX podiums, and with Billy Askew and Joe Brookes also in the mix, the battle further down the standings could be every bit as compelling as the one at the front.

Apico MX1 Class
One point. That is all that stands between championship leader Conrad Mewse and the chasing Ben Watson as the series arrives at Monster Mountain. Throw Oriol Oliver into the equation, just 12 points adrift and in superb form on the MXGP circuit, and you have the makings of a title fight that could go any direction. Taylor Hammal has quietly been one of the stories of the season, climbing the order with each passing round, while the returning Adam Sterry is the kind of rider who thrives when the pressure is on. And then there is Jeffrey Herlings. The former world champion needs no introduction, when ‘the Bullet’ lines up, fireworks follow. His presence alone makes Round 5 essential viewing.

Round 5 at Monster Mountain promises to deliver. Make sure you don’t miss a moment of it
