With a venue change in 2026 to the picturesque Hawkstone Park circuit in Shropshire, the buzz for the VMXdN brought to you by The Range has notched up a gear. The anticipation for the most popular event on the British MX calendar is at an all-time high, with pre sold tickets showing a 300% increase on the 2025 event, and it’s only going to get bigger, so strap yourself in as the big names continue to be released, for the four-day motocross festival held over the annual date of the August Bank Holiday weekend, August, 27th -30th.
The international teams are always the highlight of the event as the feature race, and with former World Champion Steven Clarke as team captain for the MTF (Millsaps Training Facility) squad, they are sure to be in contention when the gate drops. Brad Smith takes up the +40 slot in the squad alongside Clarke and Anthony Rodriguez, but don’t think for a second that Smith is a weak link. He finished 2nd in the uber-competitive +40 class at the prestigious Loretta Lynns Amateur Nationals in Tennessee last year, and he is the track builder at the Millsaps facility, so he knows his way around. He isn’t coming all this way to mess about on the CR 250 supplied by the Clarke family!
Whether you’re a die-hard two-stroke devotee or simply a fan of motorsport at its most thrilling and nostalgic, VMXdN Hawkstone is the unmissable motocross event of the 2026 calendar. From Thursday’s gate opening through to Sunday’s final race, the August Bank Holiday weekend promises world-class racing, legends of the sport within arm’s reach, a buzzing trade village, open paddocks, and the spectacular Show ‘N’ Shine, all set against the iconic backdrop of Hawkstone Park. With international and national team races drawing former pros from across the globe, this is your chance to witness motocross history being made on the very same hallowed ground that shaped it.
There are a handful of awesome VIP camping spots still available but be quick in securing yours. These are located on the terraced area in between the hill and the start gate in full view of the finish line. These spots have the best viewing of the whole venue as the action unfolds on track; you can relax in the comfort of your own area and watch the racing! Certainly not an opportunity to be missed. There are also standard camping spots, and the promoters have once again secured further fields for camping adjacent to the circuit, so there’s now plenty of room.
Tickets are on sale now, and with an event of this pedigree, they won’t hang around. Secure yours today and be part of what promises to be the greatest gathering of vintage motocross the sport has ever seen.
