There is positive news regarding the condition of Eli Tomac following his crash in the opening moto of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship season opener at Fox Raceway.
Red Bull KTM Factory Racing has released an initial medical update confirming that the first scans showed no broken bones.
The team stated:
“The scans performed on-site have confirmed that Eli did not sustain any fractures. He will undergo further evaluation this week to fully assess his condition.”
Tomac suffered a heavy crash during the first moto, immediately raising concerns about the severity of his injury.
While the initial reports are encouraging, further medical examinations will determine whether the multi-time champion will be able to compete in the upcoming rounds of the outdoor season.
