Kiara Fontanesi won the opening WMX moto in dominant fashion. The Italian rider crossed the finish line with a lead of more than ten seconds over Daniela Guillen, while April Franzoni finished third.
Malou Jakobsen finished fourth, while Lynn Valk was the best Dutch rider in fifth place. World champion Lotte van Drunen crashed at the end of the opening lap while running in third place and had to restart the race from 40th position. After a strong comeback ride, she managed to finish eighth.
Shana van der Vlist finished ninth and Danee Gelissen tenth. Amber Simons ended the race in sixteenth place and Kyshara Das 28th.
For the Belgian riders, Amandine Verstappen finished sixth, Maxime Breugelmans 31st and Britt van Muylem 36th.
