Andrea Adamo of Red Bull KTM Factory Racing will compete this Sunday in the third round of the Dutch Masters of Motocross in Markelo, racing in the highly competitive 500cc class. Adamo became the MX2 World Champion in 2023 and is currently riding his first season in the MXGP class this year.
With Adamo joining the event in Markelo, the 500cc class will be exceptionally strong, featuring six riders from the top 11 of the MXGP World Championship standings:
P2 Jeffrey Herlings,
P5 Romain Febvre,
P8 Kay de Wolf,
P9 Andrea Adamo,
P10 Calvin Vlaanderen,
P11 Pauls Jonass.
In addition to these riders, Rick Elzinga, Glenn Coldenhoff, Brent van Doninck and Andrea Bonacorsi will also line up in Markelo to battle against a strong group of Dutch riders including Sven van der Mierden, Boris Blanken, Nick Leerkes, Micha Boy de Waal, Dave Kooiker and Damien Knuiman.
The weather forecast looks very favorable, meaning fans can enjoy top-level motocross under excellent conditions this Sunday!
