Tim Gajser has won the second moto in Arco di Trento. The Slovenian was locked in a long battle with Lucas Coenen and made his move when the Belgian made a small mistake.
Jeffrey Herlings once again had a poor start and had to come through the field from around tenth place. He made strong progress but this time had to settle for second. Lucas Coenen finished third in the second moto, ahead of Kay de Wolf and Maxime Renaux.
Calvin Vlaanderen finished ninth in the second moto, Roan van de Moosdijk was 15th, and Rick Elzinga did not finish. From the Belgian side, Jago Geerts finished 20th, while Brent Van Doninck also failed to finish.
The overall victory went to Jeffrey Herlings, ahead of Tim Gajser and Tom Vialle. Championship leader Lucas Coenen finished seventh overall and now sees Herlings close to within four points in the standings.
