Guillem Farres set the fastest time in MX2 time practice. In sunny Arco di Trento, he was 0.002 seconds quicker than Valerio Lata.
The third-fastest time was set by Janis Martins Reisulis, while championship leader Simon Langenfelder recorded the fourth-fastest time.
The best Dutch rider was Kay Karssemakers in eleventh, followed by Scott Smulders (14th), Cas Valk (15th), and Jens Walvoort (24th). From the Belgian side, Sacha Coenen was the fastest with a fifth-place time, while Liam Everts finished seventh.
