Positive Dutch Masters for De Baets AIT Racing in Heerde

The De Baets AIT Racing team can look back on a positive race during the Dutch Masters of Motocross in Heerde, where strong performances were delivered across multiple classes.

In the 125cc class, Torre van Mechgelen was one of the standout riders. He secured pole position and, with a 10-3 score in the motos, finished an impressive fourth overall.

Lotte van Drunen once again showed strong form in the 250cc class, competing against the men. She achieved a solid 15th place in the first moto, followed by a 22nd place in the second moto.

Vencislav Toshev also scored points with 18th and 15th place finishes in the motos, earning a total of 9 points. Cole McCullough collected 6 points thanks to 20th and 16th place results.

It was an unfortunate weekend for Dex Kooiker. The Dutch rider attempted to return after the injury he sustained during the Dutch MX Nationals in Oss. However, it proved too soon, and he decided to withdraw from the race during the first moto.

With several positive performances and valuable race mileage gained, the De Baets AIT Racing Team now looks ahead to the next challenge: the MXGP of Sardinia, where the team aims to showcase its potential once again in the EMX250 and EMX125 classes. Lotte van Drunen will also line up again in the MX2 World Championship.
