Chase Sexton of the Monster Energy Kawasaki Team will make his return to the AMA Supercross Championship this weekend during the race in Detroit.
The American was forced to miss several rounds earlier this season, but is now fit enough to return to the starting gate. Despite his absence, Sexton currently still sits seventh in the 450 class standings with 122 points.
With his comeback, the championship immediately regains a major title contender. Sexton is among the absolute top riders in the field and will be eager to fight for podium positions again as soon as possible.
All eyes will be on Detroit this weekend, where it will become clear how quickly Sexton can regain his rhythm and rejoin the battle at the front.
