Husqvarna Factory Racing rider claims maximum points in Serbia
Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Billy Bolt delivered another dominant performance at round five of the 2026 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship in Belgrade, Serbia, securing the overall victory with a perfect scorecard. Racing his FE 350 to wins in SuperPole and all three finals, Bolt claimed maximum points on the night and continues to lead the championship standings with a commanding 85-point advantage after five of seven rounds.
Bolt set the tone early by producing a faultless lap in SuperPole to secure three valuable championship points. In race one, he emerged fifth from the opening corner but wasted no time moving forward, executing smart and tactical lines to climb into second within the first lap. An impressive pass for the lead before the lap’s end put him in control, and from there he steadily edged clear of the chasing pack. Confident and composed, Billy maintained his advantage to the finish to take the opening race win.
Starting from the second row in race two’s reverse-grid format, Bolt quickly inserted himself into contention, advancing to third by lap two and joining a four-rider battle at the front. Applying constant pressure as he hunted down the lead, he moved into first at the race’s midpoint. A fierce bar-to-bar fight followed, but with one minute remaining Billy found another level, stretching his lead to take victory by eight seconds in a clinical display of race management and speed.
Race three brought early drama as Bolt was caught in a first-corner pileup after a difficult launch off the line. Unfazed, he immediately began carving his way through the field and was back in the fight for the lead within two laps. Advancing to second with three minutes to go, he then made a decisive move for the top spot and utilised his experience and precision to open a gap in the closing stages. Crossing the line in first, he completed a clean sweep of race wins in Serbia.
With the SuperPole victory and three race wins, Bolt secured maximum points in Belgrade, further strengthening his position at the top of the 2026 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship standings. Holding an 85-point lead with two rounds remaining, the Husqvarna Factory Racing rider now heads into the closing stages of the season with the opportunity to secure the title at the next round.
The series continues on February 28 in Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom, where Bolt will contest his home round in front of a passionate British crowd.
Billy Bolt: “We’re finished here in Belgrade and it’s been a perfect night with maximum points, so I can’t complain. The starts weren’t great, which definitely made things more interesting, but in a way I enjoyed the battles. It’s good to be racing closely with the other guys because you can always learn something and take positives from those situations. Even with the tougher starts, my overall speed felt strong and I was able to stay calm, make the right moves, and manage the races well. The team did a great job all night and the bike was working perfectly. To come away with 63 points and extend the championship lead is exactly what we wanted. Now I’m really looking forward to Newcastle and racing in front of the home crowd.”
