The 53rd season of US Supercross began at the world-famous Angel stadium in Anaheim, California, on January 10 with Kawasaki riders posting top ten results in both the 450SX and 250SX West classes.
Riding his Monster Energy Kawasaki KX450, Illinois rider, Chase Sexton, posted a fine 8th in the 450SX class accumulating 14 points which put him eighth in the results table as the championship moves to its second of seventeen rounds in San Diego.
Kawasaki honours in the 250 class were upheld by Monster Energy Pro Circuit rider, Levi Kitchin from Washington State who pushed his KX250 to a fine sixth place in the championship scoring 16 points and setting the team up well for the ensuing rounds.
In the 450SX, class Sexton is partnered across the 2026 season by Garrett Marchbanks on their Monster Energy Kawasaki KX450 machines. In 250SX the Monster Energy pro circuit Kawasaki team comprises Kitchen and Cameron McAdoo.

The seventeen rounds of this 2026 season are spread right across the huge expanse of Northern America. Riders and teams will travel thousands of miles across a season that runs from January 10 to May 9 with both live at event crowds and enthusiastic television audiences numbering millions globally following all the action from the arena-based series.
San Diego’s Snapdragon Stadium hosts round two of the series whereupon it returns to Anaheim and then on to the Texas NRG Stadium for round four.
Kawasaki is well represented in both racing classes of US supercross with the two Monster Energy Kawasaki riders augmented by seven other Kawasaki mounted riders in 450SX. In 250SX, Kitchen and McAdoo are joined at the gate by no less than six KX250 mounted competitors.
