KL Racing Team has represented Denmark in the MXGP paddock for two seasons, most recently with Magnus Smith – who on several occasions showed very strong performances in this year’s world championship season and at the Motocross of Nations in the USA. Unfortunately, team owner Kristoffer Larsen is forced to put the team on standby for next season, although he also emphasizes that this is not a shutdown of the team.
Kristoffer Larsen:
“It has been an absolutely fantastic journey so far, and I am proud of what we have achieved. Unfortunately, due to financial reasons and some personal matters, I have to take a break from the team in 2026 so I can get everything in order. But I am by no means done with having my team, and it is definitely my ambition that we will come back with a vengeance! For now, I just want to say thank you to all the sponsors and everyone who has helped lift us – or simply believed in the project. It hasn’t been easy, but we have gained a lot of experience along the way, and we have come incredibly far compared to where we started. Until we meet again!”
