Sacha Coenen Claims First Race Victory in China

Under bright and sunny conditions, it was once again Sacha Coenen who grabbed the holeshot, just as he did yesterday, before pulling a ten-second gap over his rivals. The young Belgian seemed on course for a flawless performance, until a small off-track moment in the final lap briefly added some drama.

Behind Coenen, Kay de Wolf crossed the line in second place, eight seconds adrift, with a comfortable margin over Simon Längenfelder in third. Current MX2 World Championship third-placed rider Andrea Adamo secured fourth, followed by Valerio Lata in fifth.

Rick Elzinga finished inside the top ten with ninth place, while Kay Karssemakers took eleventh and Jens Walvoort crossed the line in thirteenth.
