Sacha Coenen claimed victory in the opening moto of the Grand Prix of Turkey, leading from start to finish in a dominant performance. Behind the Belgian, reigning World Champion Kay de Wolf secured second place, ahead of current championship leader Simon Langenfelder.
With this result, De Wolf gained two more points on the German rider, reducing the gap in the standings to just nine points. Matthis Valin crossed the line in fourth, while Liam Everts completed the top five in fifth position.
