Jeffrey Herlings to race the Dutch Mid Season Race in Heerde

Five-time World Champion Jeffrey Herlings will be lining up at the Dutch Mid Season Race in Heerde on Sunday, July 6. This event is part of the Dutch Nationals and offers riders the chance to earn points for the Dutch Championship.

Herlings showed during Sunday’s Grand Prix of France that he is nearing top form. In the first moto, he spent several laps closely following rising star Lucas Coenen and eventually finished third. He narrowly missed the overall podium, but it’s clear we can expect great things from Herlings this season.

Herlings won’t be the only top rider from the World Championship competing in Heerde. The organizers are currently finalizing the event and will announce more big names in the near future.

On this special day, Herlings will not only be in action on the track — he will also take time for his fans. A meet-and-greet and autograph session is scheduled, where fans can collect a signed poster and take a photo with him.

Statement from the Dutch Mid Season Race Organization:

“We’re thrilled to welcome Jeffrey to Heerde. It’s important for Dutch stars to compete in front of their home crowd, and for major events to be held in the Netherlands where fans can enjoy top-level racing. Preparations are well underway, and we will continue to provide updates on the other big names joining Jeffrey at the starting gate.”
