Romain Febvre dominated the first moto of the MXGP in Galicia. He grabbed the holeshot and steadily built a comfortable lead throughout the race. Behind him, Maxime Renaux secured second place ahead of Ruben Fernandez and Lucas Coenen.
Glenn Coldenhoff finished in an impressive fifth position, ahead of Andrea Bonacorsi, Jeffrey Herlings, and Calvin Vlaanderen. Brent van Doninck crossed the line in a solid ninth place.
Pauls Jonass crashed at the start but fought his way back to finish eleventh. Jago Geerts also went down in the opening lap and recovered to fifteenth. Roan van de Moosdijk earned four points with a seventeenth-place finish.
