Romain Febvre won the first moto of the Grand Prix of Argentina. Febvre rode a strong race, finishing ahead of Maxime Renaux and Tim Gajser. Mattia Guadagnini and Glenn Coldenhoff completed the top five. The injured Lucas Coenen fought hard and finished seventh, ahead of Jago Geerts.
