Ken Roczen has won the AMA Supercross in Daytona. In the final of the 450 class, Roczen managed to hold off Cooper Webb and Aaron Plessinger. Justin Cooper and Chase Sexton finished fourth and fifth. This marks Roczen’s first victory of the season and his first win in Daytona!
In the championship standings, Webb remains in the lead with a 10-point advantage over Sexton, and Roczen follows 16 points behind.
The win in the 250 class went to RJ Hampshire, ahead of Tom Vialle and Seth Hammaker. Chance Hymas and Maximus Vohland completed the top five.
Levi Kitchen suffered a hard crash and was taken to the medical tent. Cameron McAdoo also did not return for the final. Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki team owner Mitch Payton advised McAdoo to have knee surgery, as it began to swell significantly after the heat.
Max Anstie remains in the lead in the standings, with a 6-point advantage over Tom Vialle. Chance Hymas is in third place!
