Nicolas Vennekens of VNT Racing KTM will not participate in the second round of the Italian MX2 Championship in Montevarchi this upcoming weekend. Vennekens competed in the first round in Mantova last weekend, finishing 13th in the overall day classification.
Due to poor conditions and unfavorable weather in Italy this week, Vennekens decided to return home earlier than planned. Additionally, his bike had to be completely disassembled after the Mantova race, and the team opted to train somewhere nearby instead of racing this weekend.
Vennekens will now focus on preparing for his next event, the Dutch MX Season Opener in Lierop on February 23!
