SCOTT athlete Jorge Prado claimed the 2024 FIM Motocross World Motocross Championship at the MXGP of Castilla La Mancha over the weekend.
For the twenty-three-year-old Spaniard, from Lugo, it is the second world title in a row in the top category, and he is now four-time world champion, with the titles won in MX2 in 2018 and 2019.
Prado secured victories in over half of the season’s Grand Prix. In total Jorge Prado has a total of 49 GP wins and 95 podiums in his career between MXGP and MX2, which places him among the greatest ever in the sport.
