BELL HELMETS INTRODUCES THE ALL-NEW MOTO-10 GP: THE CHAMPIONSHIP PLATFORM, REFINED

Refined through racing, the Moto-10 GP carries a lighter segmented 3K carbon shell, a refined Virus CoolJade liner, a tougher Flying Bridge visor and expanded DOT, ECE 22.06 and FIM-02 homologation.

Bell Helmets is proud to introduce the all-new Bell Moto-10 GP: the next expression of the championship-winning Moto-10 Spherical platform. The GP is not a redesign, yet it is the sum of everything racing has taught Bell since the Moto-10 launched: the shell riders already trust stays true, while every system around it gets better: meaningful improvements in weight, comfort, durability and global race eligibility.

A LIGHTER SHELL WITHOUT CHANGING WHAT WORKS
The Moto-10 GP is built around a Segmented 3K Carbon Shell, a lighter construction that preserves the proven geometry and protective architecture of the Moto-10 Spherical. At its core is Spherical Technology powered by Mips, Bell’s ball-and-socket design in which two layers of the liner rotate independently to help redirect rotational impact forces away from the rider’s brain. For reference, the complete helmet weight is 1,400 g +/- 50 g in a size medium.

Airflow is managed by Bell’s Thermal Exchange Airflow System (TEAS), which draws cool air in through the front of the helmet and channels heat and moisture out the rear. NMR collarbone bumpers along the lower shell edge are engineered to reduce secondary injury in a crash, and Magnefusion Emergency Removal System (MERS) magnetic cheek pads allow trackside medical staff to remove padding quickly without disturbing the rider’s head or neck.

REFINED THROUGH RACERS FEEDBACK
Thanks to Bell’s world class riders using the Moto-10 platform, the most pivotal improvements that shaped the Bell Moto-10 GP came straight from their feedback.

  • Retuned Virus CoolJade liner. The removable, washable liner has been refined for improved comfort and a more precise fit profile, with CoolJade’s cooling mineral technology helping manage heat on long motos.
  • More durable Flying Bridge visor. The fully adjustable Flying Bridge visor, with integrated air intake vents, gains upgraded pins and a tougher build to better survive roost, tip-overs and repeated adjustment.
  • Scaled chin bar. The chin bar now scales with helmet size, running 5 mm longer on the larger shells for a more proportional fit and consistent field of view across the size run.
  • Optimized fit profile. Interior shaping has been revised across sizes so the helmet sits more precisely on more head shapes. Not directly visible on the outside, but a change riders feel from the very first lap.

HOMOLOGATED FOR THE WORLD’S BIGGEST RACES
The Moto-10 GP carries DOT (US) and ECE 22.06 (EU) certification alongside the all-new FIM-02 homologation, the standard now required by the world’s leading race organizers. That combination gives riders a single helmet that is eligible from a local weeknight moto to the top rung of international competition.

For Bell, FIM-02 is an important proof point for the what the Moto-10 platform stands for. The homologation protocol adds oblique-impact and rotational testing to the traditional linear standards: the same failure modes Spherical Technology was designed to address when the Moto-10 platform first arrived.
