OC1 International Motocross Polish Championship 2026 – Season Recap

On August 16, 2026, the final round of the OC1 International Motocross Polish Championship was held in Chełmno. This marked the end of the championship battle in the MX Women, MX125, MX2 and MX1 classes. The 2026 season featured four rounds, an average of around 140 riders per round, an international field and thousands of fans who followed the championship throughout the season at tracks in Poland and Slovakia.

The 2026 edition of the OC1 International Motocross Polish Championship began on May 10 in Piekoszów. The riders then competed on June 21 in Prabuty, followed by July 12 in Mníšek nad Hnilcom, Slovakia, before the season finale took place on August 16 in Chełmno.

Four rounds meant four different venues and different challenges for the riders. Competitors from Poland, the Czech Republic and Finland lined up on the starting gate, further raising the sporting level and giving the championship a truly international character.

Tracks Built to MXGP Standards

One of the key elements of this year’s championship was the professional preparation of the tracks. Every track in Poland that hosted an OC1 International Motocross Polish Championship round was either built or extensively modified by Freddie and Gabi – specialists who work in MXGP on a daily basis.

Their experience gained in the world’s leading motocross championship allowed them to create demanding and technical tracks that challenged the riders while also providing spectacular racing for the fans.

The final round in Chełmno was held on a hard-packed track, requiring excellent technique, physical preparation and concentration from the riders from the first to the last lap. The variety of tracks throughout the season also required riders to demonstrate versatility and the ability to adapt to different conditions.

Action Until the Very End

The final round in Chełmno was the last opportunity for the MX Women, MX125, MX2 and MX1 riders to fight for their championship titles. The stakes were high, and every point scored in the final races could have an impact on the overall standings.

Around 140 riders competed at each round on average throughout the season, providing fans with plenty of exciting racing across all classes. The international field further raised the sporting level and demonstrated that the OC1 International Motocross Polish Championship is becoming increasingly attractive to riders from outside Poland.

Thousands of Fans and a Strong Focus on Safety

One of the biggest successes of this year’s championship was the atmosphere at the tracks. The individual rounds attracted thousands of motocross fans, who supported the riders throughout the season and created an incredible atmosphere at every event.

Safety was equally important. Despite the high level of competition, high speeds and demanding tracks, the season was completed with a low number of serious accidents. This was the result of proper track preparation, professional work by the organizers, officials and medical teams, as well as the responsible approach of the riders themselves.

A Season That Met Expectations

The 2026 season can be described as a very successful one and fully in line with the goals set before the championship began. The OC1 International Motocross Polish Championship continued to attract riders and fans at every round, while the overall organizational standard continued to improve throughout the season.

The combination of professionally prepared tracks, an international field, strong rider numbers, thousands of fans and a strong focus on safety created a championship with a solid foundation for further development in the years ahead.

Preparations for the next season have already begun. The experience gained throughout 2026 will be used to further improve the sporting and organizational standards of the championship and to create an even better event for riders, fans, partners and sponsors.
