What if motocross were as accessible as football? With that idea in mind, Motocross Land has developed a concept that allows children from the age of five, as well as adults, to experience the sport in a safe and approachable way.
At a dedicated motocross track in Hof im Westerwald, participants ride quiet, fully electric motorcycles. The speed can be adjusted individually, from walking pace for complete beginners to higher speeds for more experienced riders. No previous riding experience or personal motorcycle is required. All necessary protective equipment, including a helmet, chest protector, knee guards and elbow guards, is provided.
The training sessions are led by former professional motocross rider Collin Dugmore. During his career, the South African won thirteen national and international titles, finished sixth in the FIM 125cc Motocross World Championship and tenth in the 250cc World Championship. Together with his coaching team, he guides participants step by step, focusing on riding technique, safety and confidence.
Motocross Land is not only aimed at children and first-time riders. The school offers three different training levels, ranging from beginner courses to coaching for experienced and professional riders. In addition, family courses, children’s birthday parties, corporate events and gift vouchers are available.
The motocross school was founded in 2017 by Phil Gehrke and has since introduced more than 2,500 children and numerous adults to the sport of motocross. Since 2026, Dugmore has been leading the organization. Its mission remains unchanged: to make motocross quieter, cleaner, safer and more accessible to a wider audience.
