Lucas Coenen Ruled Out of Remaining Races at MXGP of the Czech Republic

Lucas Coenen will take no further part in today’s MXGP of the Czech Republic in Loket. The Belgian Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider has suffered a pinched nerve in his left hip, leaving him unable to compete in Sunday’s races.

The team announced that Coenen began experiencing the injury after Saturday’s qualifying day. As a precaution, and to prevent the issue from worsening, the decision was made to withdraw him from the remainder of the Grand Prix weekend.

It is a significant setback for both Coenen and KTM, but the focus is now entirely on his recovery. The team hopes to have the Belgian rider back to full fitness and on the gate again for the upcoming rounds of the MXGP World Championship.
