Jeffrey Herlings dominated the opening MXGP moto at the Czech Grand Prix in Loket to become the new leader of the FIM Motocross World Championship.
After his KTM teammate Tom Vialle grabbed the holeshot, Herlings quickly took over the lead and controlled the race from the front to claim a convincing victory.
Reigning World Champion Romain Febvre finished second, ahead of Tom Vialle in third. Andrea Adamo crossed the line in fourth, while Ruben Fernandez completed the top five.
Kay de Wolf finished sixth, with Roan van de Moosdijk taking 11th. Rick Elzinga secured the final championship point by finishing 20th.
Belgian honours were led by Brent Van doninck, who delivered an impressive ride to finish seventh, followed by Jago Geerts in a strong eighth place. Thomas Vermijl finished 27th.
