Sacha Coenen won both motos at the AMA Pro Motocross round in Southwick. It was far from an easy victory, as Cole Davies led during the first half of the race. Coenen then took over the lead and started to pull away, but with only a few laps remaining he suffered a heavy crash.
Despite losing his goggles, Coenen remounted and managed to hold on for the moto win ahead of Davies and Kayden Minear. Levi Kitchen and Julien Beaumer completed the top five, while EMX250 rider Francisco Garcia impressed with a strong eighth-place finish.
After taking the checkered flag, Coenen signaled to his team that he was experiencing pain in his shoulder
