The Motul ACU British Motocross Championship rolls in to Canada Heights this weekend for round six of the 2026 season, with three rounds remaining and the title fights in MX1, MX2 and MX125 all tightening at a venue renowned for testing championship form.
Canada Heights, located in Swanley, Kent, began life as a campsite for Canadian troops during the First World War before being redeveloped into a premier motorcycling venue in 1985. In the decades since, it has hosted everything from local club meetings to international competition and has earned a reputation among riders and teams as one of the most demanding tracks on the calendar.
RFX MX125
Drew Stock leads the MX125 standings with 239 points, with Harley Marczak now 43 points behind in second after closing the gap in recent rounds. Joel Winstanley Dawson, Olly Waters, Archie Stapley and Lucas Moncrief are tightly grouped from third to sixth, with the class producing some of the closest racing in the championship this season.
MX2 including JMR U21
Charlie Heyman leads the MX2 standings with 224 points, a 55-point margin over Tommy Searle in second. Gyan Doensen sits third on 158 points, with Charlie Richmond and Ben Mustoe completing the top five. Searle and Billy Askew both produced standout rides at Canada Heights last season, and Searle’s current form will make him one to watch this weekend. In the JMR U21 standings, Heyman also leads, with Doensen and Richmond following. Richmond having gone close in the MX125 class at this circuit last year alongside fellow step-up rider Jamie Keith.
MX1 powered by Apico
Conrad Mewse currently leads the premier class with 221 points, holding a five-point advantage over Ben Watson, with Oriol Oliver a further 17 points back in third on 199. Taylor Hammal sits fourth on 175 points, while Tristan Purdon, Bobby Bruce, Tom Grimshaw, Jamie Carpenter and Ben Edwards remain closely grouped in the chasing pack. Mewse recorded a clean sweep at Canada Heights last season, a result that underlines his credentials heading into round six.
Canada Heights’ fast, flowing layout has a history of rewarding strong starts and punishing mistakes, making it a venue capable of reshaping the championship picture. With just the last two rounds remaining after this weekend, round six represents a significant opportunity for riders across all classes to strengthen their title credentials.
