Max Anstie and Star Racing Yamaha Part Ways

Max Anstie and Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing have mutually agreed to end their partnership with immediate effect. The decision allows the British rider to fully focus on competing in the FIM World Supercross Championship (WSX).

According to the team, Anstie’s desire to compete in the World Supercross Championship was the main reason behind the decision.

Wil Hahn (General Manager, Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing 250 Team):

“Max wanted the opportunity to compete in the World Supercross Championship. Therefore, we mutually agreed to end our partnership so he can pursue that opportunity, allowing both parties to move forward on good terms. We would like to thank Max for his hard work and dedication, and we wish him all the best for the future.”

Anstie also looks back on his time with the American factory team with great appreciation.

Max Anstie:

“I’m proud of everything we’ve accomplished together with Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing. It was always a dream of mine to race for this team. We shared a lot of success, and I’d like to thank everyone for their hard work and for all the great memories over the past two years. I’m excited for the next chapter of my career and looking forward to what the future holds.”

It has not yet been officially announced where Anstie will continue his career. However, it is clear that the British rider intends to fully focus on the World Supercross Championship.
