Skyler Howes has announced that his time with the Honda HRC Rally Team has come to an end. The American rally rider shared the news on his social media, reflecting proudly on his time with the factory team.
Howes competed for Honda HRC in several editions of the Dakar Rally and other international rally-raid events. Although the partnership has now ended, he looks back on the past few years with great appreciation.
“Unfortunately, I have to share the news that my time as a rider for the Honda HRC Rally Team has come to an end. I poured my blood, sweat, and tears into this team, and I will always look back with pride on the time I spent here. A huge thank you to everyone on the team—the team managers, technicians, mechanics, and my teammates—for their dedication and relentless drive to keep pushing the limits and striving for victory under the toughest conditions and in the most challenging rallies in the world. It has been an honor.”
At this stage, it is not yet known what the future holds for Howes.
