Positive Injury Update for Max Nagl

Max Nagl has provided a positive update regarding the injury he sustained following his crash during the ADAC MX Masters in Tensfeld. Further examinations have revealed that the damage is less severe than initially feared.

The German rider underwent another examination in Herentals, Belgium, with Dr. Claes. The results indicated that he may have suffered only a small crack in his fourth thoracic vertebra (T4). No other serious injuries were detected.

“First of all, I would like to thank everyone for all the well wishes. It’s impossible to respond to so many messages, but I truly appreciate them.

Today, I had a second examination in Herentals with Dr. Claes. Fortunately, it appears that only my T4 vertebra has sustained a small crack. Apart from that, everything seems to be okay. Of course, I have a lot of bruises and much of my body is sore, but now there is enough time to make a full recovery.”

Nagl said that he does not want to think about the championship at the moment. The German had been carrying the red leader plate since the opening round and saw his strong season come to an abrupt halt because of the crash.

“It’s difficult to accept, especially because I had no control over the situation. But I would like to thank everyone who is helping me: my team, sponsors, parents, girlfriend, friends, and fans. See you in Gaildorf!”
