Harry Dale of the Harry Dale KTM Racing Team had a strong weekend during the EMX85 race in Delfzijl. With a fifth and second place in the motos, he impressively finished third overall.
Dale started the weekend convincingly on his new bike with a new tuner. In free practice, pre-qualification, and qualifying practice in Group A, he set the fastest time each time. He carried this strong form into the qualifying race, which he managed to win.
In the first moto, Dale was unlucky at the start due to wheelspin on the starting gate, causing him to get away around 13th position. However, with a strong comeback ride, he fought his way back to an impressive fifth place.
The second moto started much better, with a good start around fourth position. Dale maintained his pace and worked his way up to a solid second place at the finish.
With these results, Dale finished third overall, a result the team can be very satisfied with. The speed and progress on the new bike provide a lot of confidence for the rest of the season.
