The Grand Prix in Arnhem was supposed to be a highlight, but it ended on a low note for Lynn Valk. Now, a few months later, she is recovering and looking ahead with renewed energy. In 2026, a new chapter awaits her with the DVS Junior Racing TM Team, with the world title as the ultimate goal.
“I’m doing really well at the moment,” Lynn says. “The bone is healing nicely, and I’m already able to do more and more exercises. The first two weeks were quite painful, but after that it improved quickly. It will still take a little while before I can get back on the bike, but behind the scenes I’m already training hard, surrounded by great people.”
Looking back on the season, Lynn mainly feels positive, though she also sees room for improvement. “I actually look back on it quite positively,” she says. “In Arnhem, the points were still close together, and I was really looking forward to the last few races. It’s a shame it had to end that way, but unfortunately that’s part of the sport.”

Next year marks a new chapter: her move to the DVS Junior Racing TM Team. “Yes, next year I’ll be riding a TM,” she says enthusiastically. “Cas has made the switch too, and together with TM and DVS Junior Racing I was able to make a great deal. I haven’t ridden the bike yet, but I’m really looking forward to it. It’s something special because there aren’t many women riding a TM — that makes it extra fun and challenging.”
With this new adventure comes a fresh ambition. “In 2026 I definitely want to fight for the world title and deliver some strong performances,” Lynn says determinedly. “I also want to race the Women’s Dutch Masters again and take part in other events if the schedule allows it. Together with the team, we’ll do everything we can to make it a top season.”
The coming months will mainly focus on recovery and preparation. “It’s still hard to say exactly when I’ll be back on the bike,” she explains. “But once that moment comes and everything feels right, I definitely want to go to Italy to continue my preparations there and spend as much time as possible on the bike.”
With her characteristic determination, Lynn is already looking ahead. A new bike, a new team, and a clear ambition: ready to fight for the world title once again in 2026.
