Haiden Deegan Could Possibly Race One 450 Class Round This Summer

Haiden Deegan tested a Yamaha 450 machine this week, and the results looked very promising. Because he already showed great speed, the Monster Energy Star Racing Yamaha team has agreed that if he secures the AMA Pro Motocross 250 title early, he will be allowed to compete in the 450 class during the final round at Budds Creek.

Deegan currently holds a 45-point lead over Jo Shimoda, and he needs to be 50 points ahead after the next two rounds in order to be eligible to race in the 450 class at the final event.

We can expect Deegan to give it everything he’s got in the upcoming rounds at Ironman and Unadilla to gain those crucial five points—so he can battle it out with the big boys at Budds Creek!
