It’s back to the Czech Republic and the Kramolin track for the opening round of a nine-venue title chase for the FIM World Sidecarcross gold medal.
The Nepomuk Club has organised sidecar motocross for decades, and this track in the Pilsen region is renowned for its technicality and tough nature.
The entry list is crammed with talent, headed by defending champion Marvin Vanluchene, now reunited with French passenger Nicolas Musset.
This looks like being one of the most closely fought campaigns of recent years given the quality of the top six and beyond.
The young Latvian Lielbardis brothers so very nearly lifted the title in 2024 and are back for more. Kramolin is a track which has tested them previously and they will be determined to lay any ghosts.
Another pairing of brothers, hails from France. Killian and Evan Prunier had a sensational year, finishing third in the standings, and are proven race-winners. To become the first ever world champions from France is their dream, but it could become reality.
TV Live Stream will be running across the weekend for all qualifying and Grand Prix races, now shown as it happens exclusively on the FIM-MOTO TV channel, with our WSC traditional highlights show following on.
