The second round of the Internazionali d’Italia Motocross 2025 EICMA SERIES, held at the historic Miravalle circuit in Montevarchi, was a challenging race for Francesco Bellei. He finished the day in tenth place overall, securing fourth place in the championship standings, just five points behind the third position.
Track conditions were particularly demanding: after heavy rain on Friday, the sunny weather on Saturday and Sunday left the terrain deeply rutted and highly selective.
In the first race, a mistake at the start forced Bellei to begin from the very last position. However, with an incredible pace and the fastest lap of the race, the Fantic Factory EMX125 rider recovered to finish in seventh place. In the second race, with a strong start from the gate, he reached fifth place at the first turn, several mistakes during the race held him back, resulting in a fourteenth-place finish.
“After a few too many mistakes, unfortunately, the race didn’t go as I wanted. However, we are working hard to be competitive and ready for the European Championship. I’m disappointed with the result, but luckily these are pre-season races, so there’s still time to prepare properly for the start of the season. I’m very confident and grateful for the trust the team has in me, and I will keep working to achieve better results,” said Bellei at the end of the race.
With the Montevarchi round concluding the Internazionali d’Italia Motocross 2025, Bellei finishes the championship in fourth place, showing great progress in preparation for the European season.
