The first race of the AX World Tour was won by Jorge Zaragoza. The Spaniard managed to stay ahead of Frenchman Cedric Soubeyras and Dean Wilson. Adrien Escoffier and Yannis Irusti finished in fourth and fifth place.
It was a tough evening for the reigning champion, Jack Brunell, who could only manage an eleventh place, while Tommy Searle finished twelfth.
