Hunter Lawrence and Shane McElrath managed to win the first night of the Australian Supercross Open in Melbourne.
In the SX1 class, Lawrence took the win with a 6-1-1 in the finals ahead of Jed Beaton 5-3-3 and Dean Wilson 10-6-2. Joey Savatgy ended the night in fourth place and secured the Australian Supercross title in the SX1 class.
Shane McElrath won all three finals of the SX2 class and also took the Australian Supercross title. Col Thompson closed the evening in second 2-4-2 and Kayden Minear was third 3-3-4.
